Honeywell Miller Turbolite™ + Scorpion personal fall limiters (PFL) are designed to meet all new global standards, providing protection for up to a 420 lb (190.5 kg) worker. These self-retracting lifelines, available in 8 ft and 9 ft (2.7 m) lengths, offer enhanced mobility, safety, and versatility compared to traditional shock-absorbing lanyards. The Scorpion model allows for flexible attachment options, enabling use directly on the harness D-ring as a personal fall limiter or as a conventional retractable lifeline when secured to an anchor point. The unit complies with OSHA and ANSI Z359.14 standards, featuring a quick-activating high-strength stainless steel braking system that effectively arrests free falls. It eliminates the need for annual factory recertification and includes a visual load indicator for necessary service removal. Various connector options are available, including without a connector, steel twist-lock carabiner, stainless steel swivel shackle, D-ring swivel hook, rebar hook, locking snap hook, and several other configurations. The Scorpion lanyard end connector options include locking snap hooks, locking rebar hooks, locking swivel snap hooks, and web loops for carabiners, making these PFLs suitable for use in agriculture, construction, and fall protection applications.
