Fibre-Metal faceshield windows are injection molded from propionate, offering superior performance compared to other window materials. These windows are pre-formed at the factory to match the exact curve of the crown protectors, ensuring easy installation and a perfect seal against dust, dirt, and debris. All high-performance windows are 1/6" thick, providing an extra margin of protection without increasing cost. The windows are available in three sizes: clear, special tints, and shades 3 to 5 and 8 (4178 only). They meet the ANSI Z87.1+ standard for eye and face protection and have been tested by Honeywell to comply with the CSA Z94.3 standard. Additionally, mesh facescreens are designed for low-velocity particle protection, ideal for forestry activities, while metal screens offer high heat resistance for environments with elevated ambient temperatures. Mesh screens also feature the advantage of being fog-free in high humidity settings.
