The RRC-400-A is an adjustable core-holder machine designed to provide an efficient off-line solution for counting large rolls of opaque labels. The device enables verification of label counts on a roll, division of large rolls into smaller ones using the preset count/stop feature, and re-tensioning of loose rolls. It operates bi-directionally, allowing for left-to-right or right-to-left movement. Users can set the machine to stop automatically at a desired preset count and employ the "sync" mode for optimal speed and tension throughout the rewind and counting process. Alternatively, a manual mode offers complete operator control. The motors can rotate in opposite directions and can be forced to stall, ensuring maximum tension control. The key specifications include a maximum roll diameter of 16 inches, a maximum media width of 6 inches (8 inches with RR-C76-220 core-chucks), a core diameter of 3 inches (adjustable to 1 inch or 4 inches with ACH-RR-400), and both wind directions available. It features variable speed control and adjustable web-tension control, and is constructed from powder-coated steel and anodized aluminum.
