The Courier™ 5000 Series general shipping scales are designed with a robust low-profile structure featuring a stainless steel top, making them suitable for rigorous shipping applications while remaining easy to clean for veterinary use. The scales showcase a clear display with large 1-1/8" / 28 mm digits, and they include UPS system communication protocol. The proprietary "Weight Alert" mode alerts users when packages exceed weight limits for shipping. The scales are equipped with a painted steel base and a stainless steel pan capable of withstanding daily use, ensuring ease of sanitation. An adjustable display allows for versatile mounting to fit various workspaces, and the dynamic weighing/display hold function is perfect for large packages and veterinary applications, retaining weight data on the screen. Power is provided through an AC adapter, with the convenience of a USB Type C connection for data and power, which also incorporates the UPS software protocol string. The scales can alternatively operate using disposable battery power. Key features include applications for weighing, dynamic weighing/display hold, weight alert, and totalization; a 5-digit, 7-segment LCD display with a white backlight; and the capability to connect via standard USB Type C. Constructed with an ABS indicator, 304 stainless steel platform, and a powder-coated frame, these scales also offer 150% overload protection and an input range of 100-240VAC at 0.5A and 50/60Hz.
