The EgeeTouch® patented smart travel padlock is designed to replace conventional mechanical locks, eliminating the need for keys, digit-wheels, and code memorization, thus simplifying the process of securing luggage. This lock pairs with Bluetooth smartphones (iOS or Android) via the EgeeTouch Manager app or can be unlocked using programmable EgeeTouch® smart NFC fobs, tags, cards, or wristbands. Certain models feature proximity tracking, which alerts users if they accidentally leave their luggage behind. Compatible with both Apple and Android smartphones, the lock also includes a built-in TSA accepted key lock for U.S. airports. The 3rd Gen. EgeeTouch travel lock introduces a directional-code unlocking feature for users who may forget their smartphones, and it provides a notification through the EgeeTouch app when luggage on the airport arrival carousel approaches the owner. Design enhancements include a "zero" shackle gap and elevated security features based on user feedback from earlier models. The smart lock employs encrypted IDs for security, allowing for superior access authentication with hundreds of millions of user-defined IDs, and the EgeeTouch® app allows for convenient storage and retrieval of these IDs.
