The EgeeTouch® patented smart travel padlock is designed to replace traditional mechanical locks, offering a modern solution for securing luggage without the need for keys or codes. This travel lock pairs seamlessly with Bluetooth smartphones (iOS or Android) via the EgeeTouch Manager app or can be unlocked using programmable EgeeTouch® smart NFC fobs, tags, cards, or wristbands. It features proximity tracking to notify users if they unintentionally leave their luggage behind. The lock includes a built-in TSA accepted key lock for use at US airports. The 3rd Generation EgeeTouch travel lock introduces a directional-code unlocking option for enhanced usability, especially useful if a smartphone is not available. The lock also has a luggage tracking feature that alerts users when their luggage is approaching on the airport carousel. Key design elements include a "zero" shackle gap and no need for a physical tag or fob, improving security based on user feedback from previous models. It utilizes encrypted IDs for pairing smartphones, ensuring superior access security with a variety of user-defined IDs stored within the EgeeTouch app for easy retrieval.
