The 1/2" x 8" T-550NL 1/4 turn no lead frost-free sillcock valve features a male National Pipe Thread (MNPT) and sweat connection. It is equipped with an easy to grip 1/4-turn Softouch™ TPR coated metal handle and a patented dual disc cartridge that ensures durable and reliable shut-off. The oversized, 5° angled mounting flange facilitates ease of installation and the kit includes an EPDM rubber gasket. Additionally, the valve has an integrated anti-siphon vacuum breaker with a chrome-plated brass cap, meeting the ASSE 1019-type A device standard. It is third-party certified and complies with NSF/ANSI 61: Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects, and ASSE 1019-A: Performance Requirements for Wall Hydrant with Backflow Protection and Freeze Resistance. The valve adheres to several standards including ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 for pipe threads, ANSI/ASME B16.18 for cast pressure alloy solder-joint fittings, ASTM F1807 for metal insert fittings using copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamps, ANSI/ASME B16.51 for copper and copper alloy press-connect fittings, and ANSI/ASME B1.20.7 for male garden hose outlets.
