The 1/2" T-543NL No Lead Brass Garden Valve is designed with a lead-free construction, making it suitable for all no-lead potable water installations and ensuring compliance with lead-free plumbing laws. Its downward-pointing, no-kink garden-hose-threaded outlet and vertical body design provide an ideal solution for stand-pipe watering applications in garden center nurseries, greenhouses, and farms. The valve features a large-diameter stem and oversized seat for frequent-use watering, along with a green oval garden handle that is easy to operate with wet or gloved hands. It includes a stem packing and packing nut design, offering superior sealing compared to packless-bonnet designs. The valve accepts various 3/4" hose-thread-mounted vacuum breakers, including models T-553, T-553C, T-554, T-555, T-556, T-557, and T-557C. Available sizes include nominal 1/2", 3/4", or 1" FNPT pipe thread inlet x 3/4" MGHT hose thread outlet. The product has undergone third-party testing and certification in accordance with U.S. Federal Public Law 111-380 (National Lead-Free Plumbing Law) and ensures compliance with ANSI / ASME B1.20.1 (female NPT inlet) and B1.20.7 (3/4" male garden hose outlet) standards. Manufactured in an ISO accredited facility, it has a working pressure of 125 P.S.I. (cold working pressure) and is not suitable for steam service. Size specifications are 1/2" FNPT x 3/4" MGHT.
