The 1/2" R-672NL No Lead FNPT Brass Boiler Drain Ball Valve features a lead-free design, making it suitable for all no-lead potable water installations in full compliance with all lead-free plumbing laws. This valve has a quarter-turn, bubble-tight positive shutoff and is constructed from forged brass to eliminate casting-related leaks, providing more durability than traditional stop-type valves. Its compact design is ideal for confined applications and it offers superior flow characteristics. The valve is equipped with three 3/4" GHT (garden hose) outlets that accept 3/4" hose-thread-mounted vacuum breakers, including models T-553NL, T-553CNL, T-554, T-555, T-556, T-557, and T-557C. It is available in nominal 1/2" and 3/4" FNPT inlet by 3/4" MGHT outlet sizes. Third-party tested and certified, it complies with U.S. Federal Public Law 111-380 (National Lead-Free Plumbing Law), and is NSF certified to ANSI / NSF Standard 61 Annex G, meeting NSF 372 lead content requirements. Additionally, it is CSA certified for Canadian plumbing applications and its end connections comply with ANSI / ASME B1.20.1 (FNPT) and ANSI / ASME B1.20.7 (male garden hose) specifications. Manufactured in an ISO accredited facility, this valve has a cold working pressure (CWP) of 200 P.S.I., but is not suitable for steam service.
