The 1/2" S-541LS No Lead Brass Sillcock Valve features a full-pattern body, stem, and handwheel construction, utilizing an electric-induction furnace casting process that optimizes molten brass temperatures for superior cast body and bonnet components. This valve is approved for potable water applications and incorporates a stem packing and packing nut design, which offers advantages over packless-bonnet stem seal designs. It includes 3/4" GHT (Garden Hose) outlets compatible with 3/4" hose-thread-mounted vacuum breakers such as models T-553, T-553C, T-554, T-555, and T-556. The valve also provides female NPT threaded, copper tubing sweat, or PEX barb inlet end connections, while the T-541LS and S-541LS models are designed with a removable handwheel and an extended lock-shield packing nut for tamper-resistant applications. The valve is certified by Truesdail Labs to ANSI / NSF standards 61-9, and its end connections comply with ANSI / ASME B1.20.1 (FNPT), ASME B16.18 (CTS), and ASTM F1807 (PEX). Manufactured in an ISO accredited facility, the valve has a cold working pressure (CWP) of 125 PSI and is not suitable for steam service. The size of the valve is 1/2" FNPT x 3/4" MGHT lockshield.
