The 1/2" S-541 No Lead Brass Sillcock Valve features a full-pattern body, stem, and handwheel construction, optimized through an electric-induction furnace casting process that ensures superior molten brass temperatures for enhanced cast body and bonnet components. This valve is approved for potable water applications and incorporates a stem packing and packing nut design, which is superior to packless-bonnet stem seal designs. It includes 3/4" GHT outlets that accept various 3/4" hose-thread-mounted vacuum breakers such as models T-553, T-553C, T-554, T-555, and T-556. The valve offers female NPT threaded, copper tubing sweat, or PEX barb inlet end connections, with the T-541LS and S-541LS models featuring a removable handwheel and an extended lock-shield packing nut for tamper-resistant applications. It has been certified by Truesdail Labs to ANSI / NSF standards 61-9, and its end connections comply with ANSI / ASME B1.20.1 (FNPT), ASME B16.18 (CTS), and ASTM F1807 (PEX). Manufactured in an ISO accredited facility, it supports a working pressure of 125 PSI (cold working pressure) and is not suitable for steam service. The valve dimensions are 1/2" SWT x 3/4" MGHT.
