The 1/2 T-531NL No Lead Brass Hose Bibb is designed with a lead-free composition, making it ideal for all no-lead potable water installations and compliant with the National Lead-Free Plumbing Law. This product is suitable for general watering applications including lawn and garden use, wash-down stations, greenhouses, and turf management, or any other source requiring a hose attachment. It is available in nominal sizes of 1/2" and 3/4" MNPT, with the 1/2" MNPT inlet designed to also be sweat onto 1/2" nominal (5/8" O.D.) copper tubing. The 3/4" male garden hose thread outlet is compatible with hose thread mounted vacuum breakers, including models T-553NL and T-553CNL. The hose bibb features a cold working pressure (CWP) of 125 PSI and is not suitable for saturated steam applications, with a maximum service temperature of 180°F. It meets certifications and listings such as NSF/ANSI 61 for drinking water system components concerning health effects, and NSF/ANSI 372 for lead content. Additionally, it conforms to standards ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 for general purpose pipe threads, ANSI/ASME B1.20.7 for hose coupling screw threads, and ANSI/ASME B16.18 for cast pressure alloy solder-joint pressure fittings.
