The 3/4 T-531NL No Lead Brass Hose Bibb features a lead-free design suitable for all no-lead potable water installations, fully compliant with the National Lead-Free Plumbing Law. It is designed for general watering applications such as lawn and garden care, wash-down stations, greenhouses, and turf management, accommodating any water application requiring a hose attachment. The bibb is available in nominal sizes of 1/2" and 3/4" MNPT, with a 1/2" MNPT inlet connection that can be sweat onto 1/2" nominal (5/8" O.D.) copper tubing. Its 3/4" male-garden-hose-thread outlet accepts hose-thread-mounted vacuum breakers, including models T-553NL and T-553CNL. The working pressure is rated for a cold working pressure (CWP) of 125 PSI, and it is not suitable for steam applications. The maximum service temperature is 180°F. This product is certified by NSF/ANSI 61 for drinking water system components - health effects, and NSF/ANSI 372 for drinking water system components - lead content. It also meets standards set by ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 for pipe threads, general purpose, inch, ANSI/ASME B1.20.7 for hose coupling screw threads, inch, and ANSI/ASME B16.18 for cast pressure alloy solder-joint pressure fittings.
