The HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured from HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by The Dow Chemical Company. It is BPA free and has a minimum bend radius of 6 times the tubing outside diameter. The tube comes with a 100-year limited warranty and is rated for a pressure and temperature of 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F. Its linear expansion rate is 1.1 inches per 10°F per 100 feet, and it is 100% recyclable, weighing 55 lbs with a capacity of 0.92 gallons per 100 feet. The dimensions of the tube are 1/2 inch I.D. x 1000 feet in a coil. HyperPure tubing is 3rd party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) and complies with various standards and codes, including ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ASTM 2769, CL-5, ASTM E84, CAN/ULC S102.2, Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) from 2015, 2012, 2009, and International Plumbing Code (IPC) from 2015, 2012, 2009, as well as International Residential Code (IRC) from 2015, 2012, 2009. It meets the standards outlined in CSA B137.18 for PE-RT made in SDR-9, and adheres to ASTM F1807, F2080, F2098, F2159, F1960, F3347, F3348, and ASSE 1061-fitting standards.
