The HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by the Dow Chemical Company. This product is BPA free and has a minimum bend radius of 6 times the tubing's outside diameter. It comes with a 100-year limited warranty and is rated for pressure and temperature up to 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F. The linear expansion rate is 1.1 inches per 10°F per 100 feet, and it is 100% recyclable. The tube weighs 25.6 lbs and has a capacity of 4.52 gallons per 100 feet. Its dimensions are 1-1/4 inches I.D. x 100 feet long coil. The HyperPure tubing is 3rd party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to various standards and codes, including ANSI/NSF 14 and ANSI/NSF 61, as well as ASTM 2769, CL-5, and ASTM E84, among others. It also complies with multiple codes such as the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and International Plumbing Code (IPC) for the years 2015, 2012, and 2009. Furthermore, it meets the CSA B137.18 requirements and various ASTM fitting standards such as F1807 and F1960.
