The HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by the Dow Chemical Company. This tubing is BPA free and has a minimum bend radius equal to 6 times the tubing's outside diameter, backed by a 100-year limited warranty. It is rated for a pressure of 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F, with a linear expansion rate of 1.1 inches per 10 degrees Fahrenheit per 100 feet. The tubing is 100% recyclable, weighs 5.5 lbs, and has a capacity of 0.92 gallons per 100 feet. The dimensions of the coil are 1/2 inch I.D. x 100 feet long. HyperPure tubing is third-party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to meet various standards and codes, including ANSI/NSF 14 for plastic piping system components, ANSI/NSF 61 for drinking water system components, and ASTM 2769 for PE-RT in hot and cold water distribution systems, among others. The tubing complies with multiple standards such as CSA B137.18 for PE-RT made in SDR-9, and several ASTM fitting standards.
