The HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by The Dow Chemical Company. This tube is BPA free and has a minimum bend radius equal to 6 times the tubing outside diameter. It comes with a 100-year limited warranty and is rated for pressure and temperature at 200 PSI @ 73°F and 100 PSI @ 180°F. The linear expansion rate is 1.1 inches per 10°F for every 100 feet and it is 100% recyclable. The tube weighs 31.5 lbs and has a capacity of 1.82 gallons per 100 feet, with dimensions of 3/4 inches inner diameter by 300 feet length as a coil. HyperPure tubing is 3rd party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to various standards and codes including ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ASTM 2769, CL-5, ASTM E84, CAN/ULC S102.2, and complies with the Uniform Plumbing Code and International Plumbing and Residential Codes from 2009 to 2015. It meets several additional standards such as CSA B137.18 and ASTM fitting standards F1807, F2080, F2098, F2159, F1960, F3347, and F3348, along with ASSE 1061.
