The Hyperpure® Bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using Hypertherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by The Dow Chemical Company. This tubing is BPA free and has a minimum bend radius equal to 6 times its outer diameter, with a weight of 52.5 lbs and a capacity of 1.82 gallons per 100 feet. It features a rated pressure and temperature of 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F, as well as a linear expansion rate of 1.1 inches per 10°F per 100 feet. The dimensions of the tube are 3/4 inch inner diameter x 500 feet coil, and it is 100% recyclable. The Hyperpure tubing is 3rd party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to various standards including ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ASTM 2769, CL-5, ASTM E84, CAN/ULC S102.2, and complies with the Uniform Plumbing Code and International Plumbing Code from 2009-2015, along with the International Residential Code for the same years. Additionally, it meets CSA B137.18 requirements for PE-RT made in SDR-9 and several ASTM fitting standards including F1807, F2080, F2098, F2159, F1960, F3347, and F3348, as well as ASSE 1061. The product comes with a 100-year limited warranty.
