The HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured from HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by The Dow Chemical Company and offers a range of technical specifications ideal for various applications. This tubing is BPA free and features a minimum bend radius equal to 6 times the tubing's outside diameter. It comes with a 100-year limited warranty and is rated for pressure and temperature at 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F, with a linear expansion rate of 1.1 inches per 10°F per 100 feet. The product is 100% recyclable, weighs 21 lbs, and has a capacity of 0.5 gallons per 100 feet, with dimensions listed as 3/8 inches I.D. x 500 feet coil. The HyperPure tubing is third-party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to several standards and codes including ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ASTM 2769, CL-5, ASTM E84, and CAN/ULC S102.2, among others. It also meets requirements set forth by the Uniform Plumbing Code and the International Plumbing and Residential Codes for the years 2009 to 2015.
