The HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by the Dow Chemical Company and features a BPA-free composition. The minimum bend radius is equal to 6 times the tubing's outside diameter, providing flexibility during installation. This product is backed by a 100-year limited warranty and is rated for pressures and temperatures up to 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F. It has a linear expansion rate of 1.1 inches per 10°F per 100 feet, is 100% recyclable, and weighs 27.5 lbs, with a capacity of 0.92 gallons per 100 feet. The tubing dimensions are 1/2 inch I.D. x 500 feet coil. HyperPure tubing is 3rd party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to various standards and codes, including ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ASTM 2769, CL-5, ASTM E84, CAN/ULC S102.2, Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) for the years 2015, 2012, 2009, and International Plumbing Code (IPC) and International Residential Code (IRC) for the same years. It also complies with CSA B137.18 and multiple ASTM fitting standards including F1807, F2080, F2098, F2159, F1960, F3347, F3348, and ASSE 1061.
