The HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by The Dow Chemical Company. This product is BPA free and has a minimum bend radius equal to 6 times the tubing outside diameter. It comes with a 100-year limited warranty and is rated for pressure and temperature at 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F. The linear expansion rate is 1.1 inches per 10°F per 100 feet, and the tube is 100% recyclable, weighing 17.3 lbs with a capacity of 3.04 gallons per 100 feet. The dimensions of the tube are 1 inch I.D. by 100 feet in a coil. HyperPure tubing is 3rd party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to various standards, including ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ASTM 2769, CL-5 for chlorine exposure, ASTM E84, CAN/ULC S102.2, and adheres to the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and International Plumbing Code (IPC) for multiple years. It also complies with CSA B137.18 and various ASTM fitting standards including ASTM F1807, F2080, F2098, F2159, F1960, F3347, and F3348, as well as ASSE 1061.
