The Hyperpure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using Hypertherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) from the Dow Chemical Company and showcases a range of technical attributes. The tube is BPA-free and has a minimum bend radius equal to 6 times the tubing's outside diameter. It comes with a 100-year limited warranty and has a rated pressure and temperature of 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F. The linear expansion rate is 1.1 inches per 10°F per 100 feet, it is 100% recyclable, weighs 27.5 lbs, and has a capacity of 0.92 gallons per 100 feet. The dimensions of the tube are 1/2 inch inner diameter by 500 feet coil. The Hyperpure tubing is third-party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to various standards and codes including ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ASTM 2769, CL-5 for chlorine exposure, ASTM E84, CAN/ULC S102.2, as well as compliance with the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and International Plumbing and Residential Codes for multiple years. Additionally, it adheres to CSA B137.18 and ASTM F1807, F2080, F2098, F2159, F1960, F3347, F3348, and ASE 1061 fitting standards.
