HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by the Dow Chemical Company. This product is BPA free and features a minimum bend radius equal to 6 times the tubing outside diameter, a 100-year limited warranty, and is rated for a pressure and temperature of 200 PSI at 73°F and 100 PSI at 180°F. The linear expansion rate is 1.1 inches per 10°F per 100 feet, and it is 100% recyclable, weighing 86.5 lbs with a capacity of 3.04 gallons per 100 feet. The dimensions are 1 inch I.D. x 500 feet coil. HyperPure tubing is third-party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to various standards and codes including ANSI/NSF 14, ANSI/NSF 61, ASTM 2769, CL-5, ASTM E84, CAN/ULC S102.2, as well as the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and International Plumbing Code (IPC) for the years 2015, 2012, and 2009, along with the International Residential Code (IRC) for the same years. Additionally, it meets the CSA B137.18 requirements for PE-RT made in SDR-9 and adheres to multiple ASTM fitting standards including F1807, F2080, F2098, F2159, F1960, F3347, and F3348, as well as ASSE 1061.
