HyperPure® bi-modal PE-RT tube is manufactured using HyperTherm® 2399 NT bimodal PE-RT (polyethylene raised temperature) by the Dow Chemical Company. This tubing is BPA free and has a minimum bend radius equal to 6x the tubing outside diameter. It comes with a 100-year limited warranty and is rated for pressure and temperature at 200 PSI @ 73°F and 100 PSI @ 180°F. The linear expansion rate is 1.1"/10°F/100 ft., and it is 100% recyclable. The weight is 76.8 lbs., with a capacity of 4.52 gallons per 100 feet, and the dimensions are 1-1/4" I.D. x 300' L coil. HyperPure tubing is 3rd party certified (ICC-ES report PMG-1363) to several standards including ANSI/NSF 14 for plastic piping system components, ANSI/NSF 61 for drinking water system components health effects, and ASTM 2769 for PE-RT in hot and cold water distribution systems, among others. It also meets the requirements of CSA B137.18 for PE-RT made in SDR-9 as well as several ASTM fitting standards such as F1807, F2080, F2098, F2159, F1960, F3347, and F3348, and ASSE 1061.
