This neutral pH disinfectant, AF315, is formulated to aid in the reduction of cross-contamination and is effective against a wide variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria when used as directed. The product ensures effective cleaning without dulling most floor finishes while providing long-lasting freshness against tough odors. For preparation, add 5 oz. per gallon of water to disinfect hard precleaned nonporous surfaces. The disinfection/virucidal process requires removing gross filth or heavy soil before thoroughly cleaning surfaces. The use-solution must be applied to the surfaces, ensuring they are thoroughly wet, and treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes before wiping dry or allowing to air dry. Rinse all surfaces that come in contact with food with potable water before reuse. The product is specifically noted for killing HIV on pre-cleaned environmental surfaces/objects soiled with blood/body fluids in healthcare settings. Special instructions emphasize that cleaning and decontamination against HIV-1 should be conducted wearing protective gloves. This product is not intended for use on medical device surfaces, utensils, glassware, or dishes, and a fresh solution should be prepared daily or more often if the use-solution becomes visibly diluted or soiled.
