Ultra-Dewatering Bags® are designed to contain sediment and oil during dewatering operations by allowing water to be pumped into the bag, where silt, dirt, sand, and other pollutants are trapped and filtered, enabling only clean water to escape into the ground or storm drains. These bags help ensure compliance with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 (1999), and are suitable for use as best management practices in stormwater pollution prevention plans. The bags can be customized in size and feature the ability to accommodate a 4-inch discharge hose, with an optional hose connector available for easy attachment and detachment. Made from durable 8 oz. non-woven material, the Ultra-Dewatering Bags provide an economical and effective solution for draining swampy or low-lying areas commonly encountered in construction, while also preventing the discharge of contaminants into storm drains. To enhance filtration efficiency, the bags can be placed on an aggregate or haybale bed, maximizing water flow through their surface area.
