Ultra-Dewatering Bags® are designed to contain sediment and oil during dewatering operations by filtering out silt, dirt, sand, and other pollutants while allowing water to escape. This product aids in compliance with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 (1999), SWPP, BMP, and TMDL requirements, making it an essential tool for managing storm water pollution in construction projects, particularly in swampy or low-lying areas. The bags detain both oil and sediment, providing a unique benefit compared to alternative dewatering solutions. They are available in standard and custom sizes, accommodating up to a 4-inch discharge hose. An optional hose connector is offered for quick and easy connections. Made from 8 oz. non-woven material, these bags can be enhanced by placing them on an aggregate or haybale bed to improve filtration efficiency.
