The Americana® climbing wind safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment with or without gloves, weighing only 13 oz. for all-day comfort. It is designed with a short peak brim to enhance the vertical field of view, promoting safety, and includes a durable 4-point chin strap made of nylon with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complemented by a deluxe chin guard. The helmet's ventilation system ensures coolness throughout the day, while the Mega Ratchet® size adjustment accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. It meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and features goggle retaining slots on the suspension, with 12 units per carton. The helmet is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020)- Type I Class C. It adheres to USA standards including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014, offering Type I impact protection, which covers the top of the head, flammability, and penetration, and Class C for conductive electrical protection, indicating it is not electrically tested.
