The Americana® climbing wind Type II safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, whether with or without gloves, ensuring ease of use. Weighing only 13 oz., this helmet is designed for all-day comfort, incorporating a short peak brim that enhances the vertical field of view for improved safety. The included 4-point chin strap is made from durable nylon with a woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complemented by a deluxe chin guard. Key features include a new black 4-point woven nylon suspension with a low profile, a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable, and goggle retaining slots on suspension. The helmet is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and features a Mega Ratchet® size adjustment suitable for head sizes 6-1/2 to 8. It meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020)- Type II Class C. Additionally, it complies with USA standards: ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, offering Type II impact protection, which includes off-center penetration and chin loops, along with Class C electrical protection, indicating it is conductive and not electrically tested. The helmet is packaged with 12 units per carton.
