The Mega Ratchet® 4 point suspension helmet offers one-handed adjustment for ease of use, accommodating wearers with or without gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., this lightweight helmet ensures all-day comfort while its short peak brim enhances the vertical field of view for improved safety. It features a durable 4-point nylon chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complete with a deluxe chin guard. The Americana® Climbing Wind helmet is designed for optimal protection in various environments while being comfortable to wear throughout the day. Additionally, the vented design promotes airflow to keep the wearer cool. The Mega Ratchet® one-hand tightening system allows for easy adjustments without removing safety equipment. The black woven nylon suspension provides secure comfort and conceals discoloration from sweat and dirt. This helmet features a moisture-wicking, removable, washable, and replaceable brow pad and meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard. It includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension and is packaged with 12 helmets per carton. Compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension, it is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type I Class C. It complies with USA standards such as ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014, which covers industrial head protection and specifies Type I impact protection for the top of the head, as well as flammability and penetration resistance; Class C emphasizes that the helmet is not electrically tested.
