The Americana® climbing peak Type II safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension that allows for one-handed adjustment with or without gloves, ensuring a secure fit with a weight of only 13 oz. for all-day comfort. It includes a short peak brim for an enhanced vertical field of view and a durable 4-point chin strap made from nylon, complete with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, as well as a deluxe chin guard. The helmet is designed with a new black 4-point woven nylon suspension that includes a moisture-wicking brow pad, which is removable, washable, and replaceable. It accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8 and features goggle retaining slots on the suspension. The helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for Type I Class E & G protection. It adheres to USA safety standards, providing Class G electrical protection, proof-tested at 2,200V, and Class E electrical protection, proof-tested at 20,000V. Additionally, it offers Type II impact protection, including energy attenuation and off-center penetration capabilities. The kit includes 12 helmets per carton and is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension.
