The Americana® Climbing Peak Type II is a safety helmet designed for maximum protection and comfort, featuring a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed size adjustments, accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8. Weighing only 13 oz., it includes a short peak brim for enhanced vertical field of view and safety. The helmet comes equipped with a durable 4-point chin strap made of nylon with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet is compliant with the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and features goggle retaining slots for added convenience. Each carton contains 12 helmets, and it is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type I Class E & G, with electrical protection classes of Class G (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E (proof-tested at 20,000V). The Type II classification ensures protection from impacts from all sides, including off-center penetration.
