The Americana® climbing peak is designed for safety and comfort, featuring a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, even while wearing gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., it offers all-day comfort with a short peak brim that enhances vertical field of view for improved safety. The helmet includes a durable nylon 4-point chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complemented by a deluxe chin guard. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension provides secure comfort while effectively concealing sweat and dirt discoloration. The system accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8 and includes a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. It meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and is equipped with goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Additionally, it is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for Type I Class E & G. Compliance with USA standards includes ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014, providing Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V). The helmet's Type I impact protection covers the top of the head, ensuring safety against impacts, flammability, and penetration. The helmet is sold in cartons of 12.
