The Americana® Climbing Wind Type II safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustments with or without gloves, weighing only 13 oz. for all-day comfort. It includes a short peak brim for an improved vertical field of view, enhancing safety. The helmet comes with a durable 4-point chin strap made of nylon with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complete with a deluxe chin guard. Designed for optimal comfort, the helmet has a vented structure to keep users cool. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension features a short peak and low profile, accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8. A moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. This helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension, and is supplied in cartons of 12. It is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type II Class C. It complies with the USA standards ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, offering Type II impact protection, which incorporates both impact energy attenuation and off-center penetration, as well as chin loops. The helmet is classified as Class C for electrical protection, indicating it is conductive and has not been electrically tested.
