The Americana® climbing peak safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system, allowing for one-handed adjustment with or without gloves, and weighs only 13 oz., ensuring all-day comfort. Designed with a short peak brim to enhance the vertical field of view, this helmet includes a durable 4-point nylon chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complemented by a deluxe chin guard. The adjustable Mega Ratchet® system accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, and it incorporates a removable, washable, and replaceable moisture-wicking brow pad. This helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Each carton contains 12 helmets. The helmet is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for type I class E & G. It adheres to USA standards including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, with Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), as well as Type I impact protection that covers the top of the head, along with flammability and penetration resistance.
