The Americana® climbing peak is equipped with a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, making it suitable for use with or without gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., this lightweight safety helmet ensures all-day comfort, featuring a short peak brim that enhances vertical field of view for increased safety. The helmet includes a durable nylon 4-point chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard. Its new black 4-point woven nylon suspension masks discoloration from sweat and dirt while providing secure comfort. The Mega Ratchet® size adjustment accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. This hard hat meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and is designed with goggle retaining slots on the suspension. It is packaged with 12 helmets per carton and is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension. The product is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type I Class E & G and complies with USA standards, including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014, which outlines industrial head protection and specifies Class G for general electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V), Class E for electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), and Type I for impact protection (top of the head, flammability, and penetration).
