The Americana® climbing wind helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension with one-handed adjustment that can be used with or without gloves, weighing only 13 oz. for all-day comfort. It has a short peak brim that enhances the vertical field of view, ensuring better safety, while the durable 4-point chin strap includes a nylon strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard. This vented helmet is designed to keep users cool throughout the day and incorporates a Mega Ratchet® tightening system for easy adjustments without removing the helmet. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension offers secure all-day comfort while concealing discoloration from sweat and dirt. Key features include compatibility with I-675R replacement suspension, a removable, washable, and replaceable moisture-wicking brow pad, and meeting the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard. The helmet is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - type I class C and complies with the ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 standards for industrial head protection, providing type I impact protection and class C electrical protection. The dimensions accommodate head sizes 6-1/2 to 8, and it is packaged as 12 helmets per carton.
