The Americana® Climbing Peak Type II helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment even with gloves on, weighing only 13 oz. for enhanced comfort throughout the day. It has a short peak brim for an improved vertical field of view, contributing to safety, and comes equipped with a durable nylon 4-point chin strap that includes woven webbing, slider size adjustments, and a deluxe chin guard. The helmet includes a black 4-point woven nylon suspension with a low profile, offering secure all-day comfort while concealing sweat and dirt discoloration. Designed for head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, the helmet features a removable, washable, and replaceable moisture-wicking brow pad. It is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Meeting the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, this helmet is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) as type I class E & G. It provides Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), while also offering Type II impact protection, which includes features for impact energy attenuation and off-center penetration. Each carton contains 12 helmets.
