The Americana® climbing wind helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, accommodating head sizes between 6-1/2 and 8, and weighs only 13 oz. for optimal comfort throughout the day. It includes a durable nylon 4-point chin strap with woven webbing, slider size adjustments, and a deluxe chin guard for enhanced safety. The helmet's design incorporates a short peak brim for an improved vertical field of view and venting to help keep the wearer cool. A moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable ensures hygiene and comfort. The helmet is certified to meet the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, and features goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Each carton contains 12 helmets. Additionally, it is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and holds SEI certification to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) – Type I Class C. The helmet adheres to USA standards, including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, offering Type I impact protection for the top of the head, along with Class C electrical protection, indicating it is conductive and not electrically tested.
