The Americana® climbing wind type II safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system, allowing for one-handed adjustment with or without gloves, and weighs only 13 oz., ensuring comfort throughout the day. This helmet has a short peak brim that enhances the vertical field of view for added safety, while the included durable nylon 4-point chin strap features woven webbing and slider size adjustments along with a deluxe chin guard. The helmet design includes a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. It complies with various safety standards, including the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - type II class C. Key features include goggle retaining slots on the suspension and compatibility with I-675R replacement suspension. The size adjustment accommodates head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, and the helmet meets ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 standards, providing Type II impact protection and Class C electrical protection, which is conductive and not electrically tested. The packaging includes 12 helmets per carton.
