The Mega Ratchet® 4 point suspension helmet features a one-handed adjustment system that can be operated with or without gloves, weighing only 13 oz. for all-day comfort. It has a short peak brim that enhances the vertical field of view, contributing to improved safety. The durable nylon chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard, provide added security. This Americana® climbing peak Type II safety helmet is designed for comprehensive head protection in various circumstances while maintaining comfort. The helmet includes a new black 4-point woven nylon suspension that is specifically designed for a short peak and low profile. It accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8 and features a removable, washable, and replaceable moisture-wicking brow pad. This product meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. It is packaged with 12 helmets per carton and is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension. The helmet is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for Type I Class E & G. It adheres to USA Standards for Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), and provides Type II impact protection, which includes off-center penetration and chin loops.
