The Americana® Climbing Wind is designed with a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, accommodating use with or without gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., this vented helmet offers all-day comfort, while its short peak brim enhances vertical field of view for improved safety. The helmet features a black 4-point woven nylon suspension, which is low profile and includes a durable nylon chin strap with woven webbing and size adjustments, complete with a deluxe chin guard. It accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, and incorporates a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. It is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020)- Type I Class C, and conforms to ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 standards for industrial head protection, offering Type I impact protection along with Class C electrical protection. Each carton contains 12 helmets, and it is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension.
