The Americana® climbing peak type II safety helmet is designed to provide comprehensive protection while ensuring maximum comfort throughout the day. It features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension with one-handed adjustment, allowing for easy size adjustments from 6-1/2 to 8, even when wearing gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., the helmet offers a lightweight design that enhances user comfort during prolonged use. The helmet includes a 4-point chin strap made of durable nylon with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complemented by a deluxe chin guard for added security. The short peak brim facilitates a better vertical field of view to enhance safety, while the moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. It meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and features goggle retaining slots on the suspension for added convenience. This helmet is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) and conforms to USA standards including Class E (proof-tested at 20,000V) and Class G (proof-tested at 2,200V) for electrical protection, as well as Type II impact protection. The helmet is packaged with 12 units per carton and is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension.
