The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Extra HD Boltless Shelving Add-On, measuring 48"W x 18"D x 72"H with a wire deck, is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the unit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers with double-riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving is constructed of sturdy roll-formed steel framing with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily for improved fire safety. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and allows expansion by joining units for greater stability without complex construction.
