The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf commercial duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams on the top and bottom shelves that lock perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The center shelf uses single rivet beams. Open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for flexibility, and the open design allows four-sided access. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes double rivet and single rivet horizontal beams and T posts, and the shelves feature sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The system accommodates various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any area and enables easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
