Product Details
This multifunction process calibrator is designed to meet the highest industry standards, featuring rugged and durable construction for reliable performance in demanding environments. The R5850 includes a high-resolution LCD display, automatic step and ramp functions, a built-in 24V loop power supply, and the capability to store and recall frequently used calibration setups, all accessible through an easy-to-use push-button interface. It sources and measures mA, while the R5820 offers a portable solution with a 24V loop power supply, selectable step or ramp outputs, and a 5-digit LCD display. The device provides accurate measurements and calibrations for a wide range of process signals, including voltage, current, resistance, frequency, and temperature. Key features include mA sourcing and measurement, a measurement range of 0-28 VDC for checking loop voltage, basic measurement/sourcing accuracy of 0.02% and 0.05%, respectively, simulation of mA and % with a 0.001% display span, internal 24V loop power supply, low battery indicator, and auto shut off after 15 minutes. The storage temperature ranges from 14 to 122°F (-10 to 50°C), with an operating temperature of 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C) and humidity range of 0 to 85%. Included with the Reed R5820 are the loop calibrator, test leads, alligator clips, protective holster, and 2 AA batteries. It is ideal for testing loop powered isolators and two-wire transmitters, as well as verifying and calibrating processes involving mA instrumentation. The DC voltage measurement range is 28V with an output range of -0.200 to 28.000V, resolution of 1mV, and accuracy of ±0.02% reading ± 2mV. The DC current measurement range is 20mA with an output range of -1.000 to 22.000mA, a resolution of 0.001mA, and an accuracy of ±0.02% reading + 4µA. The loop current measurement range is 20mA.
