The loop calibrator kit includes a loop calibrator, test leads, alligator clips, and batteries, designed for mA sourcing and measurement with a 0-30 VDC measurement capability to check loop voltage. It features basic measurement accuracy of 0.02% and sourcing accuracy of 0.05%, with the ability to simulate mA and percentage signals with a 0.001% display span. The device offers selectable step or ramp outputs and an easy-to-read 6-digit LCD display, complemented by a built-in LED flashlight, an internal 24V loop power supply, a low battery indicator, and auto shut off functionality. It is suitable for testing loop-powered isolators and two-wire transmitters, verifying and calibrating current loops in industrial control systems, troubleshooting and maintaining 4-20mA current loops in sensors, transmitters, and controllers, as well as accurately simulating mA signals for valve positioners and actuators.
