The specialty deck is designed to fit standard step beams, providing a secure fit while keeping the outer sides of the beams exposed. It accommodates 1-5/8" or 1-1/2" step beams and features a double inside waterfall design with pre-punched Tek holes for fast and easy installation. The PalletShelf™ simply drops into place for effortless setup. Its open mesh design enhances fire safety and reduces insurance premiums. Manufactured by Nashville Wire Products, which is ANSI and R-mark certified, the deck boasts a weight capacity of 3,500 lb. The construction includes 6-gauge wire decking supported by 14-gauge channel supports, with three channel supports specifically for 1-5/8" step beams and a mesh size of 2.5 x 4. A pre-galvanized finish ensures durability. Unlike wood or metal decking, the wire design permits light, air, and sprinkler penetration, offers a clear view of upper tiers, and minimizes dust and debris accumulation. For installation, it is recommended to measure the beam length between uprights (left to right), the overall beam depth (front to back), and the depth between beam steps (front to back). Beam length options include 96" with two 46" sections, 108" with two 52" sections, 120" with two 58" sections, and 144" with three 46" sections.
