The Madison trash receptacle, constructed from durable IPE wood, features a 36-gallon capacity and includes a flat top lid and liner. It is designed with IPE wood planks supported by a robust powder-coated steel frame, made from 1/4" thick steel plates and 12 gauge rolled steel. The slats are crafted from 5/4" x 4" IPE wood (nominal size 1" x 3-1/2"), while the rings are composed of 12 gauge x 3" flat steel rolled to shape, with top and bottom plates laser cut from 1/4" steel and all components electrically MIG welded. The mounting feet are formed from 7 gauge steel. The receptacle undergoes a sandblasting process to achieve a near-white condition, followed by a coating with a zinc-rich epoxy primer and an electrostatic powder coat that is oven cured. The IPE wood is sealed on each end to prevent splitting and stained with a wood finish. The receptacle's dimensions are 27-5/16" in diameter and 35-5/8" high. The center opening has an inside diameter of 8", and the overall dimensions are 26-3/4" in diameter and 11-1/4" high. The trash liner is made from heavy-duty plastic, and all included hardware is stainless steel. The receptacle is portable and/or surface mountable, making it versatile for various settings.
