The SC Preferred 5-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter unit without decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The shelving is constructed with rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, all finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows access from all four sides for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Decking is sold separately.
